We’re excited to commence construction on this thoughtfully designed renovation and extension project in Belmont, delivered in collaboration with designer Charles Maccora. The works aim to enhance spatial efficiency, introduce modern amenities, and increase the overall functionality of the home, while respecting and complementing the existing structure.

The renovation of the original footprint includes the reconfiguration of internal spaces to accommodate a new master suite comprising a generous bedroom, walk-in robe, and ensuite. As part of this internal reworking, a fully self-contained home office will also be introduced, designed to offer a quiet, functional workspace that remains spatially distinct from the primary living areas.

The new extension will introduce a contemporary open-plan kitchen, living, and dining area to the rear of the home. Large glazed openings will establish strong visual and physical connections to a new outdoor entertaining area, promoting seamless indoor-outdoor living. Orientation and glazing have been considered to optimise solar performance—capturing natural light during winter while mitigating heat gain in summer.

The extension also includes a new garage, carefully integrated into the overall design to maintain site efficiency and preserve usable outdoor space. Throughout the project, detailing will focus on the junctions between existing and new construction to ensure a cohesive architectural outcome.
